Even the AP is calling BS on The Won's claims

Behold!  The souring of HopenChange

President Barack Obama is promising some exciting coming attractions for his stimulus plan. But it turns out they're just summer reruns.

Starting off with snark.  I'm liking where this piece is going already.

As to the substance - well, what they've been doing is a total, complete and demonstrable failure.  But I suppose if they do it really fast...
Obama faces souring public opinion over his handling of the economy, which has shed 1.6 million jobs since the stimulus was signed in February. That total has far overshadowed White House announcements estimating the effort has saved 150,000 jobs, a figure that is so murky it can never be verified.

Yowza!  I had to double-take to make sure I hadn't clicked-on Fox News by mistake.  When even the AP is calling BS on your "created or saved" jobs claims, you have to know you're in trouble.

Monday's announcement sought to reposition Obama in the driver's seat of America's recovery. It portrayed the president as revving up the engine of the stimulus, but it was something federal agencies were already planning to do anyway.

Sure, you have all those O-bots home from school this summer, looking to leach off the taxpayers in addition to their nominal parents.  It's the WPA, redux.

But I'm sure the O-bots will feel pretty good about themselves for all the make-work they'll be doing.
