The point that the entire RNC (and, in fact, Republican Party) is in shambles and so, really, it doesn't matter much who is the Captain of the SS GOP-Titanic misses the point that the party has already missed far, far, far too many golden opportunities - gifts, really - granted by His Won-ness and that spending his time tossing other Republicans under the bus - and tangentially indicting the entire party of religious bigotry - is spectacularly unhelpful coming from the head of the party.

The time has come for Mr. Steele to gracefully resign.
